Brian L. King
, Clatsop County OHA Chapter member, webmaster, and former board member.

Brian L. KingI have been asked to run for the OHA State Secretary position to share the benefit of my experience and spirit of service for the advancement of this organization and its mission.  I am honored to do so.

I am an Oregon native and a hunter since boyhood.  I have been a hunter representative to the North Willamette Advisory Council of the ODFW Access & Habitat Board since 2006 and a board member of the Clatsop County OHA Chapter since 2007.

My relevant secretarial experience includes taking and publishing minutes for both my local OHA chapter as well as unofficial minutes of the state A&H board meetings that I have been able to attend.  Examples of these efforts can be seen here on the Clatsop County OHA Chapter web site that I host and manage myself.

My primary objective for this position is to relay timely and accurate information of OHA business and concerns to the local chapters and public.  Beyond that, I have an interest in offering my experience in information technology and web site administration as it might benefit our organization as a whole.

I thank you for your consideration and look forward to serving you and the OHA in any capacity that I am able.

Election ballots were sent out with your Oregon Hunter Magazine and must be returned by April 15.

Please feel free to contact me by email at blk@clatsopcountyoha.com with any comments or questions, or join us at our chapter banquet so I can meet you in person!
